What Does a Session Look Like?
A session could be walking and talking outside, setting up in the school setting or in the home, or community. Using the creative arts to explore your inner canvas with arts-based activities. "Your potential is only a brushstroke away"
What is Therapeutic Arts Counselling?
Art Therapy Counselling combines the creative process of making art with psychological theory and human experience within a therapeutic relationship.
Art Therapy is used to explore and map out things that you would like to experience, it can help to make goals clearer and outlines the next step on your journey. Working in a creative way helps to bypass the thinking brain and discover new ideas of different ways of being in the world.
We may explore with a variety of different techniques in a session depending on your needs, this could include a sensory approach with different art materials, including working outside with nature, movement, journalling, poems, narrative and other modalities.
As a Therapeutic Counsellor I am here to support you in whatever you bring to the session. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to relax and feel comfortable while uncovering your creative flow. I will work alongside you to overcome difficult emotions in a self-compassionate and person-centered way.

Acknowledge to country:
I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as the first Australians and recognize their unique relationship with the land and water. I also recognize that the Mornington Peninsula is home to the Boon Wurrung/Bunurong members of the Kulin Nation, where they have lived for thousands of years and have traditional connections and responsibilities for the land we walk on.
I pay my respects to all Elders, past and present.
Always was Always will be.
